What is SFP in McKean County?

SFP in McKean County takes place one night a week for seven weeks and is geared for families with youth in 5th and 6th grade. Each session starts at 5:30 p.m. with a family dinner. After dinner, youth and parents split up to spend an hour with their peers (younger children go to the childcare that is supplied for free).

Youth are led through the interactive activities, games, and discussion by two trained facilitators. During the program, they talk about among others:

After being with peers for an hour, the groups come back together for a one-hour interactive family session with games, discussion, and activities that will finish off the evenings session. The topics covered during the hour include:
