Families who attend at least 5 of 7 sessions of the McKean County Strengthening Families Program are considered to be alumni. During the last session (session 7), families are presented a framed certificate, along with other gifts, in recognition of their accomplishements. But families experience with the McKean County Strengthening Families Program does not stop there.
Alumni families are invited to participate in other activities. Some past activities include parent alumni help groups and a summer picnic. Ongoing opportunities include the two session Boosters as well as the area Prevention Teams. Also, families can opt to recieve a quarterly email newsletters containg reasources for families.
